Memories of Belmont Festival 2014

Thanks to everyone who attended Belmont Festival 2014 and made the event a spectacular success. We estimate over 6000 people attended the event during the afternoon to have good humoured fun in the sun.

We have had so many compliments about the Festival and our thanks to the visitors and stallholders who took the time to thank the organisers for putting the Festival together. As one person said this was a real community event, put on by the community for the community.

Our thanks also to everyone who helped make the day a success, stall holders, marshalls, performers and entertainers, tea room helpers, bar staff and many more.

But not only did we have fun, but we have also raised £16,000 to purchase two 3D Interactive Pain and Anxiety Distraction Systems for The Oak Centre for Children and Young People (OCCYP) at The Royal Marsden. These systems offer an amazing range of Interactive sensory features which are designed to distract children from pain during treatment and procedures.

By supporting the Belmont Festival you will help The Royal Marsden to make life better for all the young patients in their care.
